Cards can be used as Mail signatures
Chronos has released Business Card Shop 5, an upgrade to its card creation utility for the Mac. One of the key changes is the addition of a Template Chooser, which lets people preview templates or skip to creating a card from scratch. Custom cards can now be saved as templates; Chronos has meanwhile added 50 new templates of its own, including 36 double-sided cards, 10 signature cards, and 4 folding/tent cards.
Cards can be newly shared via integrated Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, email, messaging, and AirDrop options. A card can also be used as an email signature, but only within Apple Mail. Some smaller additions to the software include fold lines when editing folding/tent cards, new card formats, and the ability to convert text into outlines, which are treated like any other shape. Grid settings can be saved on a per-document basis, and a grid itself can be printed out.
Business Card Shop 5 costs $40 new, or $25 as an upgrade from SOHO Business Cards or Business Card Shop 4. The new edition is free for people who bought BCS4 after July 15th. Users must have OS X 10.8.4.
