Nokia hides tablet references in FCC filing, shows AT&T, Verizon LTE

Document uses tablet description in last page of testing report

The long-rumored tablet from Nokia has been spotted again, this time going through FCC certification. A filing at the commission for the Nokia RX-114 shows that the company is still working on a tablet, complete with LTE support for Verizon. T-Mobile, and AT&T, as well as GSM/Edge and HSPA+ support, and suggests that a launch could be around the corner.

The 167-page testing document spotted by Engadget reveals little about the device's true form, consisting of numerous measurements and diagrams, though the use of LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 13, and 17 are mentioned. It is not until the very last page that the word Tablet is used, appearing in diagrams showing sensor trigger distances for a number of tests.

The tablet, thought to be codenamed Sirius, is rumored to have a 10.1-inch 1080p display with a 6.7-megapixel rear camera and a quad-core Qualcomm processor. Considering Nokia is holding an event on October 22nd, it is possible that the tablet will make an appearance, alongside a number of other launches.
