iOS DJ software adds content from major artists Snoop Dog and DJ Qbert

Creators of iOS DJ software Algoriddim have released djay 2 optimized for iOS 7. Featuring a fully-revamped user interface and new music library, users can now add an input track from their mixes directly into other participating audio apps for more creative opportunities using Inter-App Audio. Also included in the latest update, "Artist Packs" consists of a collection of 12 exclusive audio and vocal samples that can be loaded to the integrated drum pad sampler, allowing the user to trigger beats and vocal samples from their favourite artists' live performances. Snoop Dog and DJ Qbert are the first artists to have exclusive sound packs. Similarly, "Skratch Tools" is now an included feature, which is comprised of a collection of Qbert samples that users can use to 'scratch'. Djay 2 is available on the App Store for $2 for iPhone and $10 for iPad.

Prismo 3 for iOS7 features more accessibility support, new UI

Prizmo -- a scanning, OCR, and text-to-speech application -- has released a newly-designed version for iOS 7. Version 3.0 includes a revamped user interface, with support for themes and user photo-based background options. Prizmo supports iOS 7's Dynamic Type feature, meaning that the font size is adjustable in the global settings of the iPhone or iPad device, and accessibility fonts can be used as well. Speech synthesis voices in iOS 7 are proposed for reading text. Specific improvements to accessibility support include Voice Reader now functioning in the background of other apps or when device is 'locked', as well as being able to be controlled by Bluetooth or AirPlay devices. When VoiceOver is active, Prizmo can also perform level detection and vibrate the device when it is parallel to the table to let the user know that orientation is optimum. Prizmo 3 is a free update for existing users, and for new users the app is available for iPhone and iPad on the App Store for $5, a 50 percent reduction in the price good for the week of the launch.
