AirPort Utility, Apple Store lead first-party app updates for iOS 7

updated 12:57 pm EDT, Wed September 18, 2013

Changes almost entirely cosmetic

Beginning a wave of anticipated first-party app updates for iOS 7, Apple has released new versions of AirPort Utility and Apple Store. In both cases the apps have been redesigned mostly to accommodate iOS 7's "flat" look. AirPort Utility, however, now sports an integrated status/navigation bar.

The Apple Store app's new look extends to virtually every element. It sports a new icon for instance, and translucencies, something core to the design of iOS 7 itself. So far there is no sign of a rumored iPhone stock tracking system.
