Voice search allows informal follow-up questions
Google has updated the iOS version of Chrome with several significant changes. Two of these involve search. When hitting Back to return to search results after tapping a link, the app will now reload the results instantly, making it easier to get to other items. Voice search has been updated to allow follow-up questions with pronouns, one given example being "Who is his wife?" after asking "Who is the president of the United States?"
Under Bandwidth Management Settings, the app has a new data consumption tracker. The feature helps illustrate data saved by using Chrome's bandwidth options. At the moment, Google is only deploying the option gradually.
Chrome is a free download and runs on any device with iOS 5 or later.
