Alleged LG Nexus 5 shown in clear FCC filing photographs

Back of smartphone matches that of pulled Android KitKat video

The Google Nexus 5 has apparently appeared again, this time as part of a second FCC filing. Photographs of the LG D820, believed to be the successor to the Google Nexus 4, show the inside and clear shots of the front and back, with the device looking remarkably similar to the phone spotted in the now-withdrawn Android KitKat promotional video.

The new images, spotted by Phone Scoop, joins earlier FCC leaks for the device, which revealed it to have a 5-inch 1080p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, and similar internals to the LG G2, if with a smaller 2,300mAh battery. Seven-band LTE support is also included, allowing it to be usable on AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint's 4G networks, as well as similar networks in other countries.

While a potential launch date is unknown for the device, the out-of-stock Nexus 4 8GB and discounted other models strongly suggest that the Nexus 5 will be shown off by Google in the next few months.
