MiTV with AirPlay announced
Xiaomi earlier today showed off a new Smart TV that claims to feature built-in AirPlay support. The MiTV, like other Xiaomi products, is powered by Android and runs the MIUI Android interface for TV screens. It is unclear if the Apple has official licensed AirPlay for the TV, or if it is merely some sort of hack. Fitted with a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600, the MiTV has not yet received a launch date, but will carry a $490 price tag.
