updated 09:28 pm EDT, Thu September 5, 2013

AIO Wireless completes US-wide rollout, available now

AT&T subsidiary AIO Wireless is now available to customers throughout the US. The prepaid service gives users unlimited talk, messaging, and what the company calls "capless" data. Smartphone plans start at $55, giving the user 2GB of full-speed data, up to $70 per month for 7GB of data, at a peak speed of 8Mbps. Feature phone plans start af $40 per month. The carrier was previously limited to a small geographical area, and replaces some of AT&T's "Bring Your Own" plans.

PocketPlug brings foldout AC plugs to protective smartphone case

Prong LLC has announced the availability of PocketPlug, the world's first iPhone case with an integrated wall charger. The PocketPlug is designed to provide protection and charging capabilities for the iPhone. The prongs easily deploy, allowing the case to connect to an outlet for direct charging, without the need for an additional adaptor or cable. PocketPlug also has a micro-USB port built in for other charging uses. Available in black or white, the PocketPlug for iPhone 4, 4s and 5 can be purchased at the Goprong website for $60 to $70.
