Apple gears up for September launch
Apple has already started shipping new iPhones from China to the United States, a source says. If accurate, the claim would back reports that Apple intends to launch the new hardware later this month. Most indications have pointed to a date on or around September 20th.
Earlier today, Apple issued invitations to a September 10th press event. There the company is expected to focus on two new products: a high-end iPhone 5S, and a mid-tier iPhone 5C. The former should feature things like a faster processor, a better camera, and a fingerprint sensor, while the latter may be little different from the iPhone 5, mainly adopting a plastic back and a lower pricetag.
