Safe5 iPhone case offers an IPX-7 waterproof rating

Outdoor Tech, a manufacturer of mobile audio devices and accessories, has announced its release of the Safe5, a new waterproof case for iPhone 5. Offered in orange, aqua and clear, the Safe 5 features a rubber gasket that runs around the interior, sealing off the phone from moisture. The case can be opened and closed for wet locations via its three aluminum quarter-turn latches. When not requiring full waterproofing, the Safe5 maintains full use of all phone functions, buttons and ports. Priced at $50, the Safe5 is available on Outdoor Tech's site.
