Briefly: Twitter app updated, Resource Scheduler Version 5 launched

updated 10:13 pm EDT, Wed August 28, 2013

Twitter's Conversations layout redesigned

Twitter released Version 5.1 of its iOS app today. The app lets users of the prominent social networking site connect to their Twitter account to get real-time stories, pictures, videos, and conversations on one's own 'timeline.' The latest update includes a redesigned Conversations segment, including a blue line indicating a conversation between people you follow, and the first Tweet in a thread now appears above the most recent reply. The new release also includes various other improvements, including new notification settings and bug fixes. Twitter 5.1 can be downloaded for free from iTunes for devices running iOS5 or later.

FileMaker Resource Scheduler Version 5 fully customizable

Computech IT Services announced today its release of Resource Scheduler, a complete drag-and-drop scheduling application. With a simple graphical interface, Resource Scheduler can be fully customized -- and is intended to provide a more comprehensive utility than comparable calendar software. Able to be run as a standalone application or integrated within one's current business applications, Resource Scheduler 5.0 is available as a free trial. Pricing starts at a single user licence for $295.
