Dock allows for remote view, control of Wi-Fi camera
Video surveillance technology developer Lorex has revealed its latest offering in the Live line of home monitoring solutions -- the LW3451X. The new Wi-Fi connected wireless home video monitor enables users to stay aware of what's happening at home anytime, from anywhere. Geared towards consumers looking for a wireless solution for in-home use, the LW3451X provides flexibility, privacy, and is easy to use and self-install.
Users can locate the Wi-Fi cradle anywhere there is a Wi-Fi signal. The cradle lets consumers view connected cameras from anywhere in the world. When users dock the monitor, they can view video remotely and locally. The free Lorex Care app for iOS and Android devices provides simple cloud-based connectivity that allows for remote access in just three easy steps without recurring fees.
The camera is pan/tilt with motion tracking, and is remotely controllable. Users can move the camera in any direction for maximum coverage. Also, the unit is capable of video recording with the option to capture events through scheduled or motion-based recording.
The LW3451X has a retail price of $299 and is currently available.
