Hue lightbulbs to gain Mac desktop control app

Philips has announced that it is in the process of developing a new desktop Mac app for controlling its Hue lightbulbs. Details regarding the app are scarce, with the only information coming in the form of an image posted on a teaser site for the app. From the image it can be seen that users will be able to control multiple bulbs from a single interface, with slides for controlling brightness, color, and color temperature.

Gazelle offering customers the chance to lock in iPhone trade-in value

Gazelle has announced that customers looking to trade-in an iPhone can lock in a price now and be guaranteed that price through October 15. Gazelle accepts trade-ins for every model of the iPhone except the first-generation, with values running as high as $350 for an unlocked 64GB iPhone 5. To lock in a price customers simply need to complete an online form and then use the free shipping materials to send in the device before October 15.
