Latest Humble Bundle packed with up to eight EA titles

updated 06:44 pm EDT, Wed August 14, 2013

Origin codes for all games, Steam keys for most

Unexpectedly, the current Humble Bundle is populated with eight recent Electronic Arts titles, many with downloadable content. Electronic Arts is not profiting from the bundle directly, so all funds generated by the sale are being collected by one of four charities, or the Humble Bundle team themselves, depending on purchaser allocation.

The games available are all downloadable on Electronic Arts' download service Origin, with five available on Steam. Titles currently in the bundle are horror survival shooters Dead Space and Dead Space 3, destructive racer Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, first-person shooter Crysis 2: Maximum Edition, parkour title Mirror's Edge, and shooter Medal of Honor.

If users exceed the average bundle purchase price, currently sitting at $4.64, shooter Battlefield 3, and life simulator Sims 3 and the Sims 3 Starter Pack are added. All but The Sims 3 package are Windows only.

Currently, Sims 3 alone retails for $25 on the Mac Game Store. Sims 3 isn't available in an identical package to the one offered in this Humble Bundle on the EA Origin store, but is available in a bundle for as low as $29.
