Logitech adds TK820 keyboard for Windows 8 with integrated trackpad
Logitech has rolled out its latest wireless keyboard for Windows users. The TK820 is set apart from other wireless keyboard solutions as it integrates a large multitouch trackpad. The device is aimed at Windows 8 users who do not have a touchscreen, but still want to utilize its built-in multitouch and gesture support in a convenient all-in-one design.
The TK820 supports up to 13 Windows 8 multitouch gestures, but requires users to first download Logitech's SetPoint software. Logitech has also ensured that the keyboard itself also makes for a functional and effective experience. It uses Logitech's PerfectStroke key system that is designed to distribute typing pressure evenly across the surface of each key.
Keystrokes are also designed to be quiet, while the Incurve, concave design, is made to help fingers glide from key to key more comfortably. Like most of Logitech's wireless products it also comes with a 2.4GHz receiver that can support up to five wireless Logitech devices. The Logitech TK820 will be available in the US and Europe in August for $100.
