Olympus EM-1 Micro Four Thirds camera specifications, diagram leak

Said to use 16MP sensor, DSLR grip, 2.3M-dot electronic viewfinder

Camera maker Olympus is close to releasing an unannounced Compact System Camera, according to a leaked specifications list and diagram. Weighing 16 ounces, the Olympus EM-1 is said to have a 16-megapixel sensor with 81 autofocus points and a Micro Four Thirds mount, built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, and a DSLR-style grip on the side.

The specifications list from Photo Rumors also state it will have a 10fps burst rate, an ISO range of between 200 and 25,600, a shutter speed ranging from 1/8000 of a second to one minute, and a Flash sync speed of 1/320s. A 2.3 million-dot electronic viewfinder is accompanied by a three-inch tiltable TFT LCD touchscreen, while the rearranged rear camera controls are joined by a newly-designed AEL/AFL lever.

It is suggested that Olympus may be formally revealing the camera sometime in September.
