LG G2 marketing shot leaks before launch, out in South Korea tomorrow

Promotional image shows lack of side buttons on LG G2

The final appearance of the LG G2 may have been revealed, complete with rear-mounted buttons, ahead of its official launch later today. The promotional photograph of the smartphone has surfaced online, along with suggestions that the electronics producer may be aiming for a more rapid roll-out of the handset after launch.

The image from the @evleaks Twitter account appears to give an all-encompassing look at the LG G2, complete with its volume keys and standby button located just below the rear camera. There appears to be very little around the edge of the phone, with what seems to be the microSD card slot flap being the sole protrusion of the phone, which will also use a nano SIM card, a 5.2-inch display with a 1080p resolution, a quad-core 2.3GHz processor, and 3GB of RAM.

The earlier rumors for the G2's release claimed it would be released on 100 carriers within three months, with South Korea and the US gaining the device in August. According to MK News, stores in South Korea will be open from midnight on the 8th of August, the day after the launch. An exact date for the US launch or for other regions remains unknown.
