CyberPower debuts Fang Taipan M2 customizable gaming laptop

New 17-inch gaming line driven by fourth generation Intel Core processor

Gaming PC manufacturer CyberPower today unveiled the highly user-customizable Fang Taipan M2 laptop. The Fang Taipan M2 can be customized to user specifications with more powerful CPUs, greater and faster performance memory, larger-capacity SSD storage options, and optical drives in the company's "classic" rubberized look.

The base Fang Taipan M2 specs include a 17.3-inch Full HD 1920x1080 display, driven by the Nvidia Geforce GTX 765M with 2GB of GDDR5 memory. The laptop is powered by the Intel Core i7-4700MQ 2.4GHz running at a peak speed of 3.4GHz. Storage is provided by a 64GB SanDisk SATA III 6.0Gb per second Solid State Drive, with a 750GB 7200RPM hard drive.

Input and output are provided by Thunderbolt, and USB 3.0 ports. Memory installed in the base specification is 16GB of DDR3 SODIMM Dual Channel Memory. Networking is provided by Internal 802.11 b/g/n Wireless LAN + Bluetooth Combo, and a 8X DVDħR/RW/4X + DL Super-Multi Drive is installed.

The Fang Taipan M2 is available now. The base specification is available for $1,869, with upgrades available for additional cost.
