Dell Precision M3800 boasts 3,200x1,800 QHD multitouch display
Dell has revealed the Precision M3800 Workstation, a high-performance notebook that manages to keep its weight down to just 4.5-pounds. Despite packing in a powerful fourth-gen Intel quad-core Core i7 processor and Nvidia Quadro graphics, it also just 0.7-inches thick. Dell claims that it is the 'world's thinnest and lightest workstation ever.'
Although its raw performance is yet to be independently benchmarked, there seems to be no reason to dispute Dell's claim. Helping to add to its credentials is the 3,200x1,800 QHD multitouch IZGO display that the system also boasts making it suitable for users looking for a high-performance notebook that can handle applications like AutoDesk and other resource intensive applications on the go. Although Dell hasn't yet revealed its exact specifications, it is also thought to support 15GB of RAM and will ship with either a 1TB HDD or a 512GB SSD.
Pricing and availability is still to be detailed. [via Engadget]
