Flyer claims Google Nexus 7 to be available on a Tuesday
The next version of the Google Nexus 7 has appeared in an advertisement for electronics retailer Best Buy. The marketing material is accompanied by a separate leak showing off a full press render of the tablet, and effectively confirming the appearance of a rear-facing camera for the first time on the tablet line.
The flyer for Best Buy shows the Google Nexus 7 "Available Tuesday," though this most likely means Tuesday the 30th, according to Android Central, as this will be after the company's breakfast event. The descriptive text tells that it will have a 1920x1200-resolution display, and will cost $230 with 16GB of storage, matching an earlier rumor.
The press render, leaked by the evleaks Twitter account, shows a number of changes made to the outside of the tablet. Speakers are located at both the bottom and the top, the Nexus logo is now readable in landscape, and the headphone jack has been moved. The new camera sits in one of the top corners of the device on the rear, and is believed to be a five-megapixel shooter.
Official details about the revised Nexus 7 are expected to be revealed on July 24th.
