Apple seeds OS X Mavericks Developer Preview 4

updated 04:53 pm EDT, Mon July 22, 2013

Changes yet to be uncovered

Apple is seeding a fourth Developer Preview of OS X Mavericks, users note. Any significant changes have yet to be identified. The new beta is arriving just under two weeks after the previous one, which went out July 9th.

The finished version of Mavericks is due to ship sometime this fall. It will introduce a variety of features to OS X, such as Finder tabs, Mac versions of Maps and iBooks, and technical improvements like App Nap, compressed memory, and expanded multi-monitor support. Apps like Calendar will ditch the skeuomorphisms that limited their interfaces.

Any updates on hardware requirements? Have they kicked any older machines off yet?

Sadly it didn't fix the Flash / Safari issue I have where it pops up for no reason saying there is an issue asking me to rate it an send it to Apple. Of course the issue is Flash not Apple. So far runs fine.
