Galaxy Mega 6.3 DUOS to retain specifications of original

Samsung is going to make a dual-SIM version of one of it's largest smartphones, according to a report. The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 DUOS will apparently be able to take two SIM cards at the same time, while effectively retaining all the specifications of the original device, including its 6.3-inch 720p LCD display.

Aside from the dual-SIM nature, revealed by the leakschina Twitter account and Phone Arena, it will use a dual-core Exynos processor running at 1.7GHz with 1GB of RAM, slightly less than the 1.5GB in the original. Running on Android 4.2.2, it will have a rear-facing 8-megapixel camera with a 2-megapixel front-facing version, and support for storage expansion via a microSD card slot.

While a price and release schedule for the DUOS model are unknown, it is said to have passed Bluetooth certification, so could receive a formal launch in the near future.

I mean.. I remember back in the day when phones were huge.. Then there was the movement to get smaller and smaller. Now it seems we are going back to phones that are huge again.
