13.3-inch MBP for $999, HP Envy Sleekbook for $299, more

This week, bargain-hunters can find discounted pricing on MacBook Pros at Amazon. The 13.3-inch MBP has seen a $200 discount from $1,199 down to $999, making this the lowest price we have seen on this notebook by $112. Free delivery is included, but sales tax applies for residents of Kansas, Kentucky, New York, North Dakota, or Washington. This MacBook pro features a 2.5GHz Intel dual-core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive with Intel HD Graphics 4000. A one-year warranty on parts and labor is included from Apple.

Right now, eCost.com has the 15.6-inch HP Envy Sleekbook with a 2.1GHz AMD dual-core A6 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive for the reduced price of $299. Also at eCost, save 54 percent on the Seagate Barracuda 1TB SATA hard drive, it carries a list price of $150, but has been reduced to $69.

JR.com has lowered the price on the Ion IDJ 2 GO DJ system for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch: it is regularly $90, but is now $50. TigerDirect.com has cut the price on the D-Link MovieNite streaming media player from $100 down to $40, and today only buyers can take advantage of a mail-in-rebate offer that drops the price further to $30.
