Win a G-Form Xtreme notebook, iPad or iPhone case

Summer is here, and for many people that means being outside and occasionally participating in some extreme activities. G-Form -- makers of innovative athletic protective gear -- have created a collection of awesome protective cases made with the same proprietary G-Form materials to keep MacBooks, iPhones and iPads safe as well. MacNN has a few of these cases to give away. Find out more about the state-of-the-art technology used to create these cases, and how to enter to win.

For a few years, G-Form has been using Poron XRD material to make protective athletic gear like elbow, shin and knee pads as well as other items like crash shorts and compression shirts with built-in pads for shielding other parts of the body. The apparel collection features low-profile Reactive Protection Technology (RPT) to absorb over 90 percent of impact forces. Body pads offer flexible, molded impact protection that flexes with joints and becomes rigid upon impact. While we don't have any of this extreme gear to give away, we do have a few of the new items that are designed to keep those expensive Apple products safe.

For starters, we have the G-Form Extreme Laptop Sleeve designed for 11-, 13- and 15-inch notebooks. The slim, form-fitting design makes it easy to place in a backpack or suitcase. RPT technology allows the extreme sleeve to be soft, flexible and light-weight, but it instantly stiffens upon impact and is proven to protect against a drop from a 20 foot balcony. Color choices for the G-Form Extreme Sleeve are black or yellow, and it retails for $80.

The G-Form XTREME Case collection was designed for iPhone 4S and 5, iPad, iPad mini and iPod Touch as well as the Samsung Galaxy S III. These cases are made with G-Forms proprietary Reactive Protection Technology that stiffens on impact to absorb over 90 percent of the force. An open frame allows for full use of the touch screen. A raised edge protects the screen, while still providing easy access to all functional ports. Choose from red, blue, silver, black or yellow. G-Form's XTREME cases retail for $40 (iPhone 4, iPhone 5, iPod Touch 5 and Galaxy S III) and $80 (iPad and iPad mini).

G-Form's Extreme iPad Sleeve Generation 2 is a second generation of protective cases for iPad and iPad 2 that offers an additional layer of RPT impact absorbing protection under the zipper and other edge areas. Interior space has been expanded to more comfortably fit iPad 2 with a smart cover. Currently it is available in black or yellow and retails for $70.
