Facebook 6.3 to include authenticity verification

Facebook's app for iOS received an update yesterday, with its release of version 6.3. The updated edition of the social media platform allows users to receive notifications when friends like and comment on their posts, share updates, photos and videos, and access all the other features that are found on Facebook.com. A small blue check has also been implemented to help verify the authenticity of celebrity, public figure, and brand profiles. Other additions to version 6.3 include bug fixes and improvements to places editing to fix categories, phone numbers and other info on iPad.

DevonThink and DevonNote 2.6 optimized for OS X 10.9 Mavericks

Devon Technologies announced today its updates to DevonThink and DevonNote to be compatible with OS X Mavericks. The information-management and note-taking software have had their menus 'cleaned up' to improve clarity. DevonThink's update has added the automatic updating of indexed folders, directly importing references from Bookends and notes from Evernote. A "formatted note" is the new document type, that supports basic formatting but can also be viewed with any web browser on any system. DevonThink is available online, with the Personal edition starting at $49, while DevonNote is available for $25 at the App Store.
