jerky trackpads, Target iPad scam

Today in the MacNN forums, "NickChapin" started a thread looking for help with a Magic Trackpad that won't respond properly, a solution has yet to be found. Also today, one angry Fresh-Faced Recruit took to the forums to warn others about a shady "deal" from Target that appears to offer a gift card with the purchase of an iPad, however when you put the items in your cart, it is revealed that the "gift card" brings the cost down to Apple's MSRP and no additional discount is included. Members are investigating the claim.

"OreoCookie" is looking for some good alternatives to Skype in a thread started a few days ago. One Senior User is looking for help with lost Migration Assistant preferences and settings, however so far there hasn't been any progress made on the situation. Yesterday "angelmb" added three new free apps to the Free iTunes App of the Week Thread, which includes Infinity Blade II and many other titles in light of the App Store's fifth anniversary celebrations.

There's no Target iPad scam. Read the thread.

NewsPoster never reads anything. He/she/it/they just skim the newest posts and dump some shit on the front page of the main 'NN site because there's precious little else to write about.
