USA network brings app with full TV episodes to iOS

updated 10:44 am EDT, Wed July 3, 2013

Allows day-after viewing of new episodes

The USA TV network is launching a new iOS app that provides access to complete episodes of its TV shows, reports indicate. Users will be able watch new episodes the day after their broadcast date, as well as older backlog material. In keeping with a number of recent TV apps however, users will have to authenticate an existing cable subscription to view full shows.

The app will still provide some features without a cable subscription, including access to a programming guide and promotional behind-the-scenes clips. A provided link to the app is currently non-functional however, suggesting the app is not yet ready.

No joy. Dropped cable TV over a year ago. Roku & OTA suffice.
