HTC One hinted at release on Verizon this summer with image

The HTC One is heading to Verizon in the future, according to the EVleaks Twitter account. A picture showing the silver version of the smartphone is displayed along with the "for Verizon" claim, but there is no mention of price, an expected release date, nor if there will be any other color options. The carrier has previously said it will start selling the HTC One "later this summer," but the on-screen clock in the image offers the date September 5th, which could be a potential launch date.

Vodafone launches 4G Wi-Fi hotspot ahead of UK 4G LTE launch

Vodafone has started selling its first 4G LTE hotspot in the UK, before it has launched its own high-speed network in the country. The Vodafone R212 provides mobile Wi-Fi for up to 10 devices, has a built-in SD card reader and display, and a 2,800mAh battery. It is on sale for 39 ($59) on a 12-month, 10 per month ($15) commitment. Vodafone's LTE network is expected to launch in the late summer, according to a company blog post.
