iPad interface still not working in beta code
Screenshots out of a hacked iOS 7 simulator show a facsimile of what the iPad edition of iOS 7 will look like, reports say. The images, captured by Sonny Dickson, depict apps like Maps, Safari, and the Game, Control, and Notification Centers. Buttons appear to be rearranged in some instances, and/or include functions that would only make sense on an iPhone or iPod touch, such as a camera flash trigger.
Although an iOS 7 beta was released to developers last week, only the iPhone interface is currently functional. The iPad code may be in limbo because Apple is still finalizing its design. When it's completed, iOS 7 will be compatible with the iPhone 4, 4S, and 5, the fifth-gen iPod touch, and all iPads from the iPad 2 onwards. It will also appear on unannounced iOS devices widely expected to ship this fall.
