Wi-Fi connectivity, Hot Shoe reportedly included in updated camera

An update to the Sony RX100 will have a tilting screen, according to images claimed to be from its instruction manual. The RX100 Mark II, expected to be announced by the company on June 27th, reportedly has a screen that will be able to vertically tilt, and will also have a light sensor to automatically adjust the screen's brightness.

The pages from the manual, leaked through Sony Alpha Rumors, also shows support for Wi-Fi as well as a Hot Shoe, accompanying the built-in pop-up flash. Other specifications were not provided, but could leak out before its expected official unveiling later this month.

The original RX100, the camera this will in theory replace, has a 1-inch Exmor CMOS sensor with an effective resolution of 20.2 megapixels. On the front is a Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T f1.8 lens with 3.6x optical zoom, while on the back is a 3-inch, 1,229k-dot LCD display. It is also capable of taking shots at ISO 25,600, 10fps burst mode, and a high-speed autofocus capable of capturing subjects in 0.13 seconds.
