updated 09:51 am EDT, Mon June 10, 2013

Focus on format support

Syncro Soft has released an upgrade to Oxygen XML Editor, version 15. The software is said to have "major" improvements in its WSDL editing, including new search and refactoring actions, hierarchy and dependency views, context-aware editing help, and the ability to generate documentation. Enhancements have also been made in working with XML databases and validation support.

XSML editing has gained reviewing improvements which make it easier to find changes and annotations in project files. "Many additions" have been made in DITA functionality, including the integration of a style guide. DITA and DocBook content can now be converted into a mobile-compatible WebHelp format.

As with other updates to Oxygen, format support has been kept up-to-date for XSLT, XQuery, XPath, XProc, EPUB, SVN, DocBook, TEI, and DITA. Licenses for the software include $99 Academic, $488 Professional, and $698 Enterprise options.
