Optimus F3 to be preloaded with Google TalkBack accessibility

Sprint has confirmed it will start selling the LG Optimus F3 later this month. The smartphone, revealed last month, will become the cheapest 4G LTE phone on Sprint's roster, and will be the first phone preloaded with TalkBack, a text-to-speech feature from Google that allows the visually impaired to navigate the device straight out of the box.

The Optimus F3 has a four-inch IPS display, a five-megapixel rear camera with a lower-resolution front-facing counterpart, powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor running on Android 4.1.2. Available in silver and purple color options, it offers Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity, NFC, unspecified storage expandable by microSD, and a 2,460mAh battery. In terms of software, it comes preloaded with VuTalk, Qslide 2.0, Qtranslator, and QuickMemo, and is also Sprint ID-enabled, allowing for extra educational downloads.

Sprint will be selling the Optimus F3 for $30 on a two-year contract with a $50 rebate, and will make it available from June 14th.
