Google secures power from Swedish wind farm for Finnish data center for ten years
Google has signed an agreement with O2 and Allianz to supply its Finnish data center with power from a new wind farm. The 72MW turbine collective in northern Sweden, which will be operational in 2015 according to a Google blog, will provide the search provider with power for the next ten years, as part of its efforts to be a carbon neutral company.
