Claims 13MP camera sensor, possible 3x optical zoom
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has allegedly been confirmed to be in the works, according to a report. An official for the electronics giant is claimed to say the smartphone will have a 13-megapixel camera sensor, but the exact features of the camera have yet to be decided, as the company hopes to keep the phone as thin as possible.
The source of ET News states that the Galaxy Note 3 development team is considering adding a 3x optical zoom to the phone, but is concerned it would take up too much space. "We are pondering various technologies at this stage, for example, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and shutter functions. But, nothing has yet to be confirmed," said the official.
Previous rumors of the Galaxy Note 3 place it as having the company's 4+4 Exynos 5 Octa processor running at 2GHz, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage with microSD expansion options, and a 5.99-inch 1080p display. The Galaxy Note 3 may also end up being revealed as part of the device line up for an event in London on June 20th.
