CheckBook and CheckBook Pro now support account syncing
Splasm Software updated both the Standard and Pro versions of its personal finance management software, CheckBook. New to this latest release is support for syncing and merging data with users on other Macs. Anyone who purchases the software from the Mac App Store will be able to synchronize data directly to iCloud, while all other users can sync data across a local network. Also new to this release is full support for Retina displays, improved performance, and compatibility with Apple's sandboxing requirements.
Both versions use the same single-window interface and offer an advanced filtering system, account summaries, account transfers, and scheduled entries. On top of this, the Pro version adds Smart Folders, folder management, global account summaries and scheduled entry reminders, as well as multiple entry changes.
The update is free for all 2.x licensed users, while full licenses are currently being discounted by 20 percent. Until the end of the weekend CheckBook can be purchased online or through the Mac App Store for $12, and CheckBook Pro is selling for $20.
