GMail client Mailbox comes to iPad, adds bug fixes
Mailbox (free), an alternative GMail client for iOS, has released a new version that fixes a few bugs and is also now optimized for iPad as well as the iPhone. The app offers features not found on the default iOS mail client, such as gestures to prioritize incoming mail and the ability to reschedule a message to reappear later.
The development team, now supported by Dropbox, is also working on a desktop and Android version of the program but says those options are on a "longer-term roadmap." The team are also considering adding support for other IMAP-based email services such as iCloud.
