Head-mounted display for glasses wearers still being developed
Google is still working on a version of its head-mounted display for wearers of glasses, it has emerged. A number of Google employees roaming the Google I/0 developer event were said to be wearing the modified version of Google Glass, working with prescription lenses and a different frame to the headband usually provided with the device.
Images picked up by Slashgear shows Glass as having been slightly modified to fit with regular glasses, with the main shell receiving a slight redesign to work with the frames, though the internal hardware used is said to be the same for the standard Explorer edition.
It is noted that Google is only using one set of prescription frames with Glass at the moment, but it is possible for multiple different styles of frame to be made available in the future, if only in a limited range.
