Ultrabook to reach Best Buy on June 23rd, starts from $800
Lenovo has started shipping the IdeaPad Yoga 11S in the United States. The convertible ultrabook is a smaller version of the IdeaPad Yoga 13, opting for an 11.6-inch, 1366x768 touchscreen display instead of the 13-inch version of its larger stablemate, and provides full Windows 8 instead of the Windows RT installed on the Yoga 11.
Inside is an Intel Core i3 processor, though there are options to put in a Core i5 or Core i7, complimented by 4GB or 8GB of RAM, a 128GB or 256GB SSD for storage, and an option to increase the screen resolution to 1600x900. Held inside either a "Silver Grey" or "Clementine Orange" body with a soft-touch exterior, the Yoga 11S is claimed to have up to six hours of battery life, and can go into the same laptop, tablet, tent, and stand modes as its predecessors.
Orders through the Lenovo website have a lead time of a few weeks before shipping. Best Buy will also be stocking the notebook from June 23rd, with a base price of $800.
