E-on Software has released LumenRT 4.1 Studio, an update of one of the developer's 3D modeling tools LumenRT meshes 3D models into realistic natural or urban environments, for instance adding people, plants, animals, and/or car traffic. The v4.1 patch introduces new animated water materials, ranging in scale from ponds to oceans.
The software's performance on Macs has been improved, and support for other platforms has been enhanced. That includes better support for exporting larger Bentley MicroStation models, as well as "more complete" textures in Revit exports. Likewise, point lights can now be exported from Revit.
The update is a free download. LumenRT 4 Studio typically costs $795, but is cheaper in bulk licenses.
