Leak: Billboard advertisement shows Verizon-bound Nokia Lumia 928

Billboard claims Lumia 928 has 'best low-light smartphone camera'

An advertisement on a billboard allegedly showing the rumored Nokia Lumia 928 has appeared online. The new image, if genuine, presents the smartphone as having "the best low-light smartphone camera," as well as showing that it is heading to Verizon Wireless, and hints that the device may be launched sometime in the near future

It is not known if the photograph received by My Nokia Blog is in fact real. There is no confirmation from other sources that the billboard exists, and no location supplied with the image to check. The image itself is also relatively clear of defining markers, except for a number attached to the billboard.

Previous rumors have suggested the Lumia 928 as having a 4.5-inch display, wireless charging capabilities, and an 8-megapixel camera. Considering its similarity to the Lumia 920, it may share a number of other internal characteristics, such as having a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and NFC.

Talking to analysts after the company's recent financial results, Nokia CFO Timo Ihamuotila told that the next Lumia phone would be a 'Hero' device. The photographic capabilities of the camera will be pitched as the main differentiator between it and other devices, something seemingly echoed in the advert.
