27-inch iMac cut to $2,899

This week, MacMall.com has lowered the price on the 27-inch iMac from $2,949 down to $2,899 with free shipping. That's a savings of $49, making this the lowest price on this iMac brand new. This iMac features a 3.4GHz Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and a 3TB Fusion Drive with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX graphics processor and two Thunderbolt ports. Included with it are an Apple wireless keyboard, Magic Mouse, and one-year warranty on parts and labor from Apple.

This week, the HP OfficeJet 100 mobile printer has been reduced by $110 from $280 down to $170 at OfficeMax.com. Today's deal of the day from Rakuten.com is on the ZyXEL NSA310 network attached storage and media server, it was $130, but has been reduced to $70 with free budget shipping.

Save $150 on the Sony DR-GA500 PC gaming audio headset at JR.com, it was $200, but is now only $50 with free shipping. A $100 price break is available on the HP Pavilion all-in-one computer with 23-inch display and AMD accelerated processor, it was $600, but has been reduced to $500 with free delivery at OfficeDepot.com.

It's a $49 savings, but it includes a $200 upgrade from 8 to 16 MB. Since you could add 8 MB for less than $100 (the 27" iMac has four easily-accessible slots), this more than wipes out the discount.
