Device thought to be HTC Tiara begins showing up
An unannounced HTC Windows Phone device has apparently shown up in the device logs of a Chinese developer, and it's believed that the handset is heading to Sprint. The device is thought to be an earlier-rumored phone codenamed the HTC Tiara, that was said to be coming to Sprint.
The developers of Chinese app Love Wallpapers spotted the device in their server logs, according to WPDang. Little is known about the device, but observers believe it may launch this summer.
If it is in fact the HTC Tiara, the mystery handset would feature a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 4.3-inch WVGA Super LCD2 display, and 1GB of RAM. It would also have 8GB of internal storage, an 8MP rear camera, and a 1.6MP front-facing camera.
An HTC phone on Sprint would give Windows Phone 8 a presence on each of the United States' four major carriers. HTC has already provided Windows Phone 8 models for AT&T and other carriers with its Windows Phone 8S and Windows Phone 8S. [via Ubergizmo]
