Nokia launches cheap Asha 210 aimed at the youth market

Nokia has launched the Asha 210 feature phone with a QWERTY keyboard that also includes a dedicated WhatsApp key with its messaging service included for free on the device. The device is at younger users keen on messaging across platforms on the cheap, while it also comes in a range of bright colors adding further appeal. The Asha 210 is also available in a single-SIM or dual-SIM variant giving users additional flexibility if needed.

Also appealing to younger users, the Asha 210 also incorporates a 2-megapixel camera that includes a self-portrait mode that includes a voice guide to help a user get centered in the photo. Images can also be edited on board before quick sharing to social networks. The device also ships with a preloaded YouTube launcher for onboard video streaming.

The Asha 210 centers on a 2.4-inch display and is good for 46 days on stand-by on the single-SIM version, though this is reduced to a still useful 24 days with dual-SIM version. The Asha 210 is available in yellow, cyan, black, magenta and white and it will retail for around $72 when it goes on sale in the coming weeks.
