150 applicants will be awarded admission to the conference
Apple has opened up applications for its annual scholarships for student developers to attend the 2013 World Wide Developers Conference scheduled for June 10 through June 14. The annual program is giving 150 students admission to the conference on a merit basis, the same number as last year.
Applicants must be 13 years of age or older, and a member of the iOS developer program, iOIS developer university program, iOS developer enterprise program, or Mac developer program. Prospective candidates must provide proof of school enrollment.
According to Apple, applicants must use "creativity and coding skills to build an app that tells us about you. Your app should highlight development projects you’ve worked on, your educational and professional background, technical skills, and interests." All entries must be submitted beginning April 29 and ending on May 2 at 5PM PDT.
