Optimus smartphones to extend LTE-capable catalog of carriers

A pair of LG Optimus smartphones with LTE connectivity appear to be heading to US carriers in the coming months. The Optimus G Pro is rumored to land on AT&T at some point in May, while the Optimus F7 will apparently become Boost Mobile's third LTE-capable device, and has already appeared in an image in its carrier-branded form.

Tips sent to Android Community place the Optimus G Pro as replacing the Optimus G on the network. Housing a 5.5-inch 1080p full HD display, the high-selling Optimus G Pro has a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a rear 13-megapixel camera.

The Optimus F7, shown in images from @evleaks via 9to5Google, is said to be hitting the Sprint-owned network, but it is unclear when it will do so. It has a 4.7-inch display with a 720p resolution, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and 8GB of storage expandable by up to 32GB via microSD.
