Galaxy S4 to cost $250, on two-year AT&T contract

The Samsung Galaxy S4 will be able to be pre-ordered in the US in the near future, and is already available for pre-order in the UK. AT&T managed to be the first carrier to announce when the smartphone will go on sale in the United States, while on the other side of the Atlantic, most carriers in the United Kingdom have started accepting orders for the 4.99-inch mobile device.

Pre-ordering on AT&T will commence on April 16th, according to an official blog post, and will cost $250 with a two-year contract. Other carriers, including Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon, have said they will be carrying the phone, but have yet to announce when it will be available to buy through themselves.

In the UK, retail chain Carphone Warehouse is offering the Galaxy S4 off-contract for 630 ($955), which can be offset by signing up to a two-year contract. Amazon UK is also offering it at 630 ($955) unlocked, while EE, O2, Three, Virgin Mobile, and Vodafone are said by The Next Web to also have it on offer on-contract, with handsets expected to be in the hands of customers on April 26th.
