Trio of devices use iOS or Android app for fine tuning

Audio accessory maker Jabra on Monday announced a new suite of corded and wireless stereo headphones. Specifically designed for durability, everyday use, and portability, the new Jabra Revo Wireless, Jabra Revo corded and Jabra Vox in-ear earphones are coupled with Jabra's Sound App for iOS and Android devices to tailor the listener's audio experience.

Both the Jabra Revo Wireless and Jabra Revo headphones are constructed using an aluminum frame, steel hinges and a shatter-proof headband for flexibility. The small Jabra Vox earbud set is built from premium materials, and comes with tangle-free, reinforced cables.

Jabra Revo products use 40mm drivers, with a 20Hz-20KHz frequency range. The 4mm omnidirectional microphone sensitivity is 14dB +/- 3dB, all in a 240g (8.5 oz) headphone. Bluetooth 3.0 and greater is supported with the Jabra Revo Wireless, with A2DP 1.2 and AVRCP 1.4.

Jabra Vox corded earbuds use 8.6mm speakers with a frequency range of 20Hz-20KHz. The buds boast a total harmonic distortion of less than 5 percent at 200Hz through 10KHz, in a 15.8g (0.56 oz) package. The volume control on the eadbud cable is only supported with the iOS.

The trio of new products are available today. The Jabra Revo Wireless headset retails for $249, with the corded version for $199. The Jabra Vox earbuds are available for $99. Look for a review of the Jabra Revo Wireless and Jabra Vox on Electronista soon.
