Leeds store marks rare Thursday opening
Plans for three new Apple Stores have emerged. Apple itself has announced a location in England; the Trinity Leeds outlet is launching on Thursday, in a shopping center opening on the same day. Thursday store openings are rare for Apple, which normally prefers weekends, especially Saturdays.
In Germany, meanwhile, the company has posted job listings for its first store in Dusseldorf, and a second one in Munich. The country remains relatively underserved in terms of Apple Stores. While expansion appears to be accelerating, Apple has yet to even open its first Berlin store, despite the project being long in development.
