Android devices offer dual-sim, TV reception options

Motorola has announced a pair of new Android Jelly Bean smartphones reaching the Brazilian market in the near future. The Razr D1 and Razr D3 a value and mid-ranged handset respectively, appear to be taking a number of design aspects from the Droid Razr M, though with smaller 3.5-inch and 4-inch touchscreen displays.

The smaller Razr D1 is powered by a 1GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and houses 4GB of internal storage expandable by microSD, a 1,785mAh battery, and options for one or two SIM cards. It also uses Motorola's Circles widget for quick access to news and weather, an FM radio, and can also pick up analog and digital TV.

The Razr D3 is also available in a dual-SIM option, and has a faster dual-core 1.2GHz processor, though it keeps the 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage from the D1. Using the same Circles widget, the D1 can pick up FM radio, uses a 2,000mAh battery, and is protected with a Corning Glass screen.

The D1 is on sale now, with the version offering dual SIM support and TV reception costing R$550 ($280), while the D3 will be on sale in a few weeks time, starting from R$800 ($405).
