Path update introduces private messaging

Path has released the next major version of its iOS social network, introducing the ability to privately message others and to purchase new content from the built-in Shop. The new instant messaging feature includes support for sending voice, text, and location notes in both private and group conversations. A new stickers feature also allows users to use the app's new proprietary emoticons to express feelings. Stickers can be purchased in packs from the Shop alongside a variety of photo filters.

Incredimail comes to iPad

Perion has announced that it is brining its Incredimail e-mail client to iPad owners in the form of a dedicated app. Built-in support is included for numerous popular e-mail serves, including iCloud, Gmail, and Yahoo! Mail, as well as for any number of standard IMAP or POP3 accounts. All inboxes can be sorted separately within Incredimail or integrated into a single unified inbox. Other features includes the ability to see quick previews of e-mails without having to actually open the message, a dedicated photo inbox, link previews, and e-mail stationary.
